PENAL CODE § 666 – PETTY THEFT WITH A PRIOR

Bajo PC § 666, si una persona ha sido condenada por hurto menor, hurto mayor, abuso de ancianos, robo de auto, robo con allanamiento, secuestro de vehículo, robo o recepción de propiedad robada como delito grave y cumplió una condena de prisión por ese delito o como condición de libertad condicional por esa ofensa, y quien posteriormente es condenado por hurto menor, es castigable con prisión en la cárcel del condado que no exceda un año, oelder abuse, auto theft, burglary, carjacking, robbery, or felony receipt of stolen property and served a term of imprisonment for that crime or as a condition of probation for that offense, and who is subsequently convicted of petty theft, is punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one year, or in the state prison
